Founded in early 2024, Mendje was created to fight the stigma against mental health and to provide a safe and confidential platform to talk with Albanian psychologists online.

Our mission is to provide professional and personalized therapy through a safe and confidential platform. With a network of over 40+ licensed psychologists, Mendje empowers individuals to take control of their mental health and work toward personal growth and wellbeing. We believe that language and culture are essential for an effective session.
The Problem
In Albanian-speaking countries, stigma around mental health remains strong. Many people do not seek help because they fear judgment from family and community. In the diaspora, the situation is even harder — the lack of Albanian-speaking psychologists who understand our culture leaves many without support.
The Solution
Mendje connects Albanians with licensed psychologists who speak their language and understand their cultural background. Through technology, we remove the geographic and cultural barriers that prevent access to mental health care.

Our Journey
The idea was born
Seeing the great need for Albanian-speaking psychologists in the diaspora, we founded Mendje with the vision of connecting Albanians wherever they are with Albanian psychologists who understand family dynamics, culture, and our roots.
Platform launched
After months of intensive work, we launched the Mendje platform and achieved partnerships with over 40 psychologists, offering daily online sessions for our community.
Diaspora expansion
Mendje expanded to 9 countries, becoming the largest Albanian-language mental health platform in the world.
